The screen capture programme I use (HyperCam) uses some of the hotkeys to operate, even though I can remap those hotkeys, I would like to know if I can remap the MachinimaCam hotkeys instead?

[...] Some interesting tutorials on making machinima using Second Life - you might be ready just in time for the 2009 Machinima Festival - can be found using the Second Life Wiki on Machinima, Eric Linden’s 10 simple machinima tips and his paper and keep an eye on the Machinima Librarians. Definitely worth checking out also is Miss - ‘her royal red highness’ - Codebastard Redgrave’s MachinimaCam.
I purchased a copy of the HUD and was very much impressed by its design and operations. Although some have made mention of the fact that there are obvious similarities between the MachinimaCam and the free, Linden created FollowCam, the MachinimaCam has advantages and features that are a must for any serious film maker and leave the FollowCam in the dust. The first of these are that the MachinimaCam is a HUD and not an object that needs to be worn on your avatar. Trying to wear a camera and a filming costume on your avatar at the same time means you probably are going to have to sacrifice a part of your costume in order to film. Another major plus for the MachinimaCam is that it can be controlled with either a menu or hotkeys, which during filming can make a large difference in capturing that perfect scene. Additionally, the HUD comes with a detailed instruction note that not only describes the operation of the HUD but also includes tips on creating films in SL that someone new to machinima will find indispensable. All in all, this product is well worth the cost and will be a welcome addition to the tool lineup of any
