Jori Watler has always been a great friend to Codie and I. She is, simply, family. So, when she offered to create an exclusive Rouge version of her gorgeous “Dream” Ensemble, we were over-the-moon excited, but not at all surprised by her generosity.

The “Dream” Rouge Ensemble includes necklace, rings, cuffs - and as an added incentive - the matching earrings. The only place this set is available is at the Rouge Boutique and 50% of the proceeds benefit the Rouge Tiers fund.

I need to post positive before going on a rambling about the OpenSpace issue, so I thought I would share something pretty and fun to calm down. Lately I was hanging with Gabby at our new (soon to be closed) little asian inspired retreat we just built, and I fiddled a few fun Windlight settings and I thought I would share them with you lovelies.

Those are instructions for SecondLife viewer on Vista. Location may differ on Macs, Linux and WinXP

1. Download Rouge_Windlight.zip
2. Unzip this ZIP archive directly in:
   C:\Program Files (x86)\SecondLife\app_settings\windlight\skies
3. Restart SecondLife

Of course I won’t explain how to select them from the Windlight menus, this is pretty standard stuff.

I recommend setting your water to red, black or even white for super cool reflection effects!

Since I got my new sim Rouge up and running, I am immediately selling all my remaining mainland on the Strata mainland sim. I have approximately 6000sqm for sale at discount price. Most of it is splitted in 512 right now but I will offer more discount if you want to buy a bigger parcel. There’s also the old Code Red parcel, 5696sqm, odd shape but contiguous.

Please DO NOT hesitate to contact me inworld if you want to negociate, or buy in volume. I will gladly accept a reasonable offer. It really need it to go now, because I can really use that tiers money to pay for Rouge instead.

It is with a little pinch in the heart that I did a Return All Objects on the Code Red parcel, as it is more than one year of epic festive awesomeness that goes with this build. So many amazing things happened there, so many amazing people I had the chance to meet there, so many kisses I gave. It’s where Stephen Venkman met his lovely Kimberly Mirabeau. It’s there Marquez Tone played his last set inworld. It’s there I intronized Boudoir Rouge. It’s there I met Gabby for the first time. It’s there I met most of my marvelous anf loyal friends that surrounded my dream life for over a year and a half. It’s there I made love a thousand times, if this pixelized ground could just speak, It would tell so many incredible tales you could not even imagine.

A moment of silence please.

*lowers my head and thinks for a while of the good old times being*

Of course, if I didn’t own the most outstanding sim on the grid, Rouge, I would totally be whining right now. I am not because Rouge holds a hope for a better future, not for myself, for that community I worship and love so much. Rouge is my heart. I want you to take it, to make it your own, to use it for community events, to help it grow as a meeting point, a hangout, a home. I want you sweethearts to live Rouge.

Come gather and catch fishies and have a laugh.  Picnic on Mount Assmore. Make love on every corner of the sim. Dance all day and night with your loved ones. We will organize many regular activities, parties, scavenger hunts, and community events. But I need you lovelies to tell me what I can do to make you feel at home.

Rouge is love. My love for you. Please accept it as a small token of my admiration for you all.

I apologize to my faithful readers (they sure aren’t right now) but a massive server borkage led me to suspend my bloggage because of database corruption issues. I hope it will help that I did a clean upgrade to WordPress 2.6.1 and cleaned the most crappy plugins, upgraded the ones I kept. Flushed Ubernyms since the upgrade requires a bit more job and I’m pretty lazy nowdays, with the job kicking my ass and things moving faster than I imagined.

I’m pursuing Boudoir Rouge, I made a few very interesting shoots, 5 I guess, and I’m working on more to come. I have a tremendous documentation and updating job to do, tons of scripting, more marketing, and so on. Codie is gonna need to get busy with everything soon. I may slack on my regular tasks a bit for a while so bear with me, but I will keep this blog busy because theres a few huge things coming on for you lovelies.

I love you sweethearts, thanks for all the amazing support, all my loved ones. I worship you people like you have no idea.

At 5PMSLT starts the Rouge Latex ball with 2 awesome DJs from Digital Nation! Dress code is… well… latex! Bring your friends and let’s just chill tonight, we all need it! Much love.

On Saturday evening, Plurkers, Twitterati, and various other SLebrities, took advantage of Codie’s absence by breaking out of their straightjackets and disguising themselves as doctors and nurses. As is generally the case when this group gets together, madness ensued. I offer as evidence the following photo:

Osiris and Roxette fashioned a Codie mask for everyone to wear and a group picture was required. Poor Kitty Lalonde wasn’t able to get out of her wheelchair, but we managed to roll her into place anyway.

Unfortunately, technical difficulties forced us to move the party to The High…Big thanks to Nexeus Fatale for generously offering the use of his club, so that we could continue the party!

Queen Coronet served as our Hostess with the Mostest (the most KY, that is) and Nexeus and Amanda Shinji kept the dancefloor packed with great music.

As you people may know I pretty much needed vacations badly. So I’m going to my family. I will be back around the 27th of July, just a bit after my birthday. Please have fun at Rouge while I’m gone. Contact Gabby Panacek as she is in charge of the estate during my absence.

Some people have asked us if Rouge is accessible to group only, I want to state clearly that it is NOT the case. Rouge is completely OPEN TO THE PUBLIC, for anyone that wishes to visit. It is my house, and you are all very welcome to come in there, chill, relax, use the bubble rides and admire the landscape.

Also, I will add more stuff so you can gather and have fun together at Rouge, from 7seas fishing server, to couple poseballs and loungers in numerous secret spots. Hike up the giant butt, take pictures, shop, dance, have fun. I wanted this place created for you all to enjoy. So get your ass there and enjoy it.

Gawd what a party. An incredible night for me and I hope for every one of the 750 unique visitors that hit the Rouge sim in the 15h of partying. I can say that an impressive part of SecondLife’s who’s who got in there that night. I had so many nice and enriching conversations, met many awesome people I never had the chance to meet before, it was simply magical for me.

Of course, after such an epic but rushed event (it was the last moment I could organize such a huge event before vacations), I wanted to give a very warm thank you to everyone that helped organizing the event and everyone that passed by, sometimes up to 4 or 5 times in the night. That was amazing. Thanks to you all from the bottom of my heart, I had the most fun I had in SL in months.

Special super thanks to all the DJs from the digital Digital Nation guys, Nexeus Fatale, Eris Alexander, Amanda Shinji, Nephie Eerie, DJ Azu, you guys were all incredible. And thanks a whole lot to my lovely hosts Queen Coronet and LadyArwen Demina, you girls were amazing.
