Un merci très Rouge
Gawd what a party. An incredible night for me and I hope for every one of the 750 unique visitors that hit the Rouge sim in the 15h of partying. I can say that an impressive part of SecondLife’s who’s who got in there that night. I had so many nice and enriching conversations, met many awesome people I never had the chance to meet before, it was simply magical for me.
Of course, after such an epic but rushed event (it was the last moment I could organize such a huge event before vacations), I wanted to give a very warm thank you to everyone that helped organizing the event and everyone that passed by, sometimes up to 4 or 5 times in the night. That was amazing. Thanks to you all from the bottom of my heart, I had the most fun I had in SL in months.
Special super thanks to all the DJs from the digital Digital Nation guys, Nexeus Fatale, Eris Alexander, Amanda Shinji, Nephie Eerie, DJ Azu, you guys were all incredible. And thanks a whole lot to my lovely hosts Queen Coronet and LadyArwen Demina, you girls were amazing.
Thanks to Gabby Panacek my lovely executive assistant for helping to promote the event. Thanks to Ryker Beck for making that awesome portrait of Gabby and Marx for me, I’m still in awe. It’s simply gorgeously beautiful. Thanks to Mairead Fitzgerald for making that beautiful Rouge gown she gave away for free through the night. It’s now on sale at Simply Silks. Thanks to Callie Cline for the nice freebies and for making it so much fun. Thanks to Gorgeous from Juicy for the lovely shooz I gave away. Thanks to Roxette Wise for giving over 60 lovely outfits. Thanks to Alexx Markova for making another 40 pose set for Boudoir Rouge and to celebrate the sim opening. Thanks to Jacek Antonelli for the Rouge Bubble Ride that is already placed on the sim so you can enjoy very special bubble rides. Thanks to Celebrity for letting me hump her, that was delicious.
Thanks to every blogger and journalist that encouraged and promoted the event, and covered the event after it ended. We had amazing press coverage, hundreds of awesome artsy pictures, even 7 videos made during the night. All if this is covered in the updated press review post.
Again, of course I want to state I am immensely grateful to Eshi Otawara for making my dream come true, and to Fallon Kazan for generously donating this sim.
Thanks to Osiris, Jun, Washu, Damien, Marx, Neysa, Erotica, Nadine, Krys, Stephen, Sho, Kimmy, geez I could not possibly thank everyone individually that helped in a way or another, but I thank you all for being such wonderful lovelies with me. I surely don’t deserve so much sweetness, but know that I am blissful, grateful, humbled and honored of it all. Each and every day you people proves me that theres some hope for a better humanity, compassion, generosity and beauty.
I love you all to tiny little bits.
Your red host, Codie

Codie it was a pleasure and a delight to contribute to the opening of such an awsome sim!
The party was fantastic. I had a most memorable night (and morning).
*Hugs*
What Fun! Yay! I’m so proud of you, Minxy. ::hugs and kisses::
hey codie, it was really an honor to share in such a labor of love for you. i remember the first time we met and was struck by your generous, giving and kind spirit. although our lifestyles and expressions of them are so different… the one thing that totally impressed me with you from day one was your kindness and your generous spirit. it’s shown me that those of us who are quite different (on the outside) can be quite close and it’s a really honor to have been a part of your big day.
you are a really remarkable person, evidenced by the diversity of people who came into your sim and felt welcomed, at home and had fun… even tho you and celebrity soiled my TRAMPOLINE BED.. hahaha, i had a great time!!!
xoxo,
caLLie
You’re absolutely welcome, love. The pleasure was all mine. I wouldn’t have missed it for the world!
[...] I made it to the Rouge opening party and what an amazing party it was! I was afraid I was going to be too late and miss out on most of the excitement, but omg I was so wrong. Things were going strong when I got there and hadn’t slowed down one bit by the time I decided to head to bed in real life. [...]
