It was hard work but I am very proud to present the Grand Gala opening of Code Red Lounge’s new Art Gallery.
Since Code Red opened, I always seen it as a place to hold memorable spontaneous gatherings. In an effort to make it a more community oriented project, and since the simple club formula was not enough to make it live, we managed the place to keep it’s fantastic club like attributes but evolve into a driver for promotion of collective arts in Second Life.
The new Art Gallery is integrated with Code Red Lounge, but also adds an additional story for more art exposition and lounging. The gallery will present works for sale from some of SecondLife’s most praised artists!

OK I know I said I won’t bother you until 50K, but 40K is at least mention worthy, ain’t it? I also had my 500th contact today (okay okay I admit it, I’m a total contact whore). And on another note this picture I mentioned previously in the SecondLife showcase just reached 5000 views. My total absolute record for a Flickr post.

I tried and played with Yahoo Pipes before but didn’t grasp the principle until today. It is absolutely awesome. Flexible, powerful, totally managable, this is the aggregation dream come true. It didn’t take very long before I had united all of my main RSS feeds into only one.
The Codie Pipe Feed includes: my Flickr, BlogHUD, Pownce, Twitter, Jaiku and of course, this same blog CodeBastardRedgrave.Com. All united in a single RSS stream goodness.
Imagine the implications for Secondlifers that are also Twitterers, Flickerites and especially Bloggers. We could do our own universal blogroll. Or our universal blogger’s Flickr stream. Or whatever combo we want to do. It’s tricky to setup at first if you don’t know what you are doing but they provide many nice examples. Also one thing i’m looking at is uniform Pownce, Twitter, Jaiku, etc… posting, i’m sure it’s possible to do so.

I have posted a lot of stuff in the last days, I guess to make myself excused of not posting regulary lately. I posted a lot of sets related to the SL4B event lately, which I hope you will enjoy.
In other news, my dear sweet friend Kimberly Mirabeau made me the surprise and honor of creating a Flickr group dedicated just for me! It’s purpose is to showcase pictures of myself but taken by other SecondLife photographers. How honored I am, especially since it is the first time I see that being done among SL Artists on Flickr. It’s already got 130 members!
