Dramavatar SL clothing brand supports german Flickr users against censorship

Relatively to my last post about Flickr censoring german users from viewing mature contents, I decided to release 2 of my Dramavatar Mood Shirts in a special package to support our german Flickr friends. The 3 shirt package is only 5L$ on SLExchange.Com and can be used to show your opposition to Flickr censorship of german users, with a humorous twist.

Get the two special Dramavatar Mood Shirts - Flickr Edition right here on SLExchange

The package contains the two following shirts: Too Hot For Flickr, and Flagged NIPSA. I think those express very well some people’s frustrations regarding censorship on Flickr. You can also ask me directly for them by IM when I’m in-game.

You are not a german Flickr user? Lucky for you. But I support this cause because censorship can happend anytime, anywhere. Nobody is immune to it. It will happend more and more, so we better shift a gear and oppose it while we still can.

Also remember that this is not all of Flickr’s fault. If you are german and you are affected by it, protest your own governement, because they are responsible for Flickr censoring german users. Those puritanist morality laws are not to be beaten if you don’t go to your local representant and oppose them very firmly.

Down with censorship! Long live freedom of expression!

  1. Absolutely; it can happen anywhere. As William Allen White once said, “Liberty is the only thing you cannot have unless you are willing to give it to others.” Thank you for alerting us all to this plight of our German brothers and sisters!
